This isn’t a recipe. Today it’s a conversation from me to you and I need to be honest.
At the end of the day, after I’ve perused the political blogs and read up on what’s happening on the campaign trail, I find myself browsing food blogs. I try to learn what makes successful food writing, how they photograph their dishes and of course, search for interesting recipes. And right there is the problem.
I end up copying and pasting recipes and links to word documents, printing them out and taking them home. That wouldn’t be such a problem if I didn’t average 3-4 recipes per word document! Now I have a good sized folder of loose leaf printer paper with recipes for baked goods, drinks, chicken, steak, fish — you name it!
So what do I do? Keep perusing but don’t print? Keep perusing, print and leave at work?
If any other food bloggers (or non-food bloggers of course) are out there and read this, how do you read all those other food blogs and not feel at times overjoyed but also overwhelmed at all the possibilities of recipes?!
That’s all for now folks, thanks for listening and stay tuned!
